 winter? Yes\, I know the feeling. So let&#39;s get out of that office\, stretc
 h our legs\, and see some beautiful fall foliage before the blizzard 2018 
 shuts us all in. WIE/YP is hosting a hiking event at Mount Major. This is 
 a moderate loop of 4 miles (total) and 1\,100 feet elevation with a reward
 ing view.\n\n[Mount Major Brook Trail](https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/
 new-hampshire/mount-major-and-brook-trail-loop)\n\nWe will meet at the tra
 ilhead. Trailhead parking is located just off of Route 11 in the Mt. Major
  Parking Lot. Although it is a rather large parking lot\, it does often fi
 ll up rather quickly on nice summer days. Luckily\, however\, parking is a
 llowed near the lot on the side of Route 11. Maps and porta potties can be
  found in the parking lot and the trailheads are located at the far end.\n
