DESCRIPTION:There are many methods in DOA estimation[1][2][3]\, each cateri
ng to a domain specific requirement. The current method is aimed at lean c
omputing and leaves the computing band-width to other applications.\n\nThi
s presenation will show the gold-Fourier-Kaluri(gFK) method and kMUSIC\, a
novel method for estimating Direction of Arrival (DOA)\n\nfor Classifying
Multiple SIgnals (κMUSIC) by reducing the spectrum to sum of monochromat
ic signals or pure tones. This is achieved by\n\nexploiting gFK method for
providing these phasors at each spectral peak. A complex beam steering ve
ctor is generated for obtaining the DOA. Results are presented and compare
d with standard MUSIC for reference and tested with field data for perform
