 The Los Angeles Department of Water & Power’s (LADWP’s) Haynes Generat
 ing Station (HnGS) is the largest in-basin power plant in Southern Califor
 nia. It has an operating capacity of 1\,666 megawatts and has 15 generatin
 g units onsite\, 11 of which are still operational. Phase I repowering com
 pleted in 2005 and included construction of a 2+1 combined cycle capable o
 f both natural gas and liquid fuel firing. Phase II repowering completed i
 n 2013 and included construction of 6 simple-cycle GE LMS100 Units. Constr
 uction of these new units significantly improved plant emissions\, dispatc
 hability\, and greatly enhanced plant efficiency.\n\nIt is located in Seal
