DESCRIPTION:The 4th International Conference on Electrical Energy Systems (
 ICEES 2018) was organized by the department of Electrical and Electronics 
 Engineering of Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering\, during 7
 -9\, February\, 2018. The conference was technically sponsored by the IEEE
  Madras section and Power Electronics Society.\n\nICEES-2018 received a hu
 ge response from over 250 elite institutes and industries across the globe
 . The interest of authors in the conference is recorded from the 314 submi
 ssions received from 13 different countries. The committee\, after much de
 liberations\, selected 152 papers for oral presentation during the confere
 nce. The scientific programme of the conference included three keynote add
 resses delivered by eminent professors. Prof. Dr. Saad Mekhilef\, Departme
 nt of Electrical Engineering\, University of Malaya\, Malaysia delivered t
 he keynote lecture on the title &quot;The Role of Power Electronics in\nProvidi
 ng a Sustainable Energy Supply&quot; on first day. Prof. Diego Bellan\, Departm
 ent of Electronics\, Information and Bioengineering\, Politecnico di Milan
 o\, Milan\, Italy delivered the keynote lecture on second day on the title
  &quot;Circuit Analysis of Asymmetries in Three-Phase Electrical Systems&quot;. On t
 hird day\, Dr. K. Sudhakar\, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering\, Automotiv
 e Engineering Centre(AEC)\, Universiti Malaysia Pahang\, Malaysia delivere
 d an invited talk on &quot; Floating Solar Power Plants : Present status and fu
 ture prospects &quot;. There were totally 143 papers presented by authors in th
 e conference in 15 oral sessions. This conference provided opportunities f
 or the delegates to exchange new ideas and their research experiences to e
