  minutes of the previous meeting was read by Prof. Nishchal K. Verma\, Vic
 e Chairman\, and with the consent of all present members minutes were appr
 oved.\n\nAgenda Item #2: IEEE CIS membership promotional activity events.\
 n\nDiscussion: On the behalf of present members\, Vice Chairman announced 
 and appreciated that the chapter has taken a great step towards IEEE CIS m
 embership promotional activity.\n\nThe IEEE CIS membership drive and exper
 t lecture as a promotional activity event was held at Kanpur Institute of 
 Technology\, Kanpur\, India on November 16th\, 2018. The expert lecture wa
 s meant for awareness regarding benefits of IEEE CIS membership and guidel
 ines. The interactive session with executive committee members during this
  promotional activity results in several interested students for becoming 
 a member which made this event successful.\n\nThe discussion was followed 
 by the venue of next promotional activity event to be held in India. Prof.
  Verma\, Vice Chairman\, Mr. Sujeet Mishra\, Secretary and Prof. Varshney\
 , Convener\, CIS Student Activities proposed some suggestions for the venu
 e such as\, IIT BHU (Varanasi)\, India\, IET Lucknow\, India\, Amity Unive
 rsity\, Greater Noida\, ABES Ghaziabad\, India\, etc. The objective of the
 se events is to aware and attract researchers for IEEE CIS.\n\nAction Item
 : The venue of next promotional activity event is to be decided.\n\nAgenda
  Item #3: Industrial Visit for the Students.\n\nDiscussion: Mr. Sujeet Mis
 hra\, Secretary proposed that an industrial visit for the interested stude
 nts in IEEE CIS may be planned for real-time exposure and awareness.\n\nAc
 tion Item: The further possibilities and updates will be communicated shor
 tly.\n\nAgenda Item #4: Summer School to be held in December 2018.\n\nDisc
 ussion: The summer school entitled “2018 IEEE CIS Summer School on Deep 
 Learning and Computational Intelligence” (Webpage: http://www.iitk.ac.in
 /idea/IEEECISSS2018/) is to be held during December 5-7\, 2018 at Indian I
 nstitute of Technology Kanpur\, India.\n\nAs per the Agenda Item #3 of mee
 ting held on August 12th\, 2018\, a query email has been sent to IEEE CIS 
 for changing the name of the event as “Winter School” instead of “Su
 mmer School”. Prof. Verma announced that there was no suggestion or comm
 unication from IEEE CIS regarding the change in name of the event. Hence\,
  it has been renamed as “Summer/ Winter School” instead of “Summer S
 chool”. Prof. Verma also requested everyone to actively participate in t
