DESCRIPTION:The GCC-Cigre study committee “System Planning\, Performance 
 and Energy Efficiency” and the IEEE PES Chapter in UAE are very pleased 
 to invite you to the first UAE GCC-Cigre-IEEE PES joint event in 2018 to b
 e held on December 24th\, 2018\, in Abu Dhabi\, UAE\, at TRANSCO premises.
  This event is in line with the GCC-Cigre and IEEE PES efforts to promote 
 the research and industrial collaboration on System stability and flexibil
 ity with effective utilization of renewable energy sources in GCC Countrie
 s.\n\nThis event is also a part of the joint industrial research collabora
 tion project between Khalifa University\, TRANSCO and Manitoba Hydro Inter
 national (Canada) entitled “Stability Assessment\, Visualization and Enh
 ancement (SAVE) Tool for UAE Power System with Renewable Energy Integratio
 n” led by Prof. Mohamed El Moursi\, Khalifa University. In this event\, 
 novel approaches for power system transient stability assessment and power
  system flexibility will be presented by TRANSCO and Khalifa University re
 searchers.\n\nDuring the event\, distinguished experts and representatives
  from Department of Energy\, Power Companies\, Khalifa University of Scien
 ce and Technology\, and potential manufactures will exchange views on the 
 potential ways to support and enhance the power system stability and flexi
