DESCRIPTION:Internet of Things (IoT) is the key to the fourth industrial re
volution\, which is transforming the entire world towards the Internet of
Everything. The IoT revolution is poised to change the industrial scenario
in terms of the way humans interact with machines and machine interact wi
th other machines. In the future\, almost every device around us would be
connected to the Internet\, collecting and exchanging data with other devi
ces on the cloud. The enormous number of connected devices would be fuelli
ng the data consumption on the Internet. Internet of things is supposed to
change the way telecommunication industry functions and would have a huge
impact on it. The telecom companies and the network providers need to upd
ate their strategies for the management of data services and infrastructur
e development to keep pace with the changing environment. Some of the core
issues that would be visible in the telecommunications industry in the co
ming years include faster adoption of cloud technologies to deliver impecc
able network\, platform and solution functionalities\; ability of the mobi
le network operators to deliver the highest-quality functionalities for th
e network to connect machines uninterruptedly under newer IoT applications
\; ensure the cloud infrastructure is robust\, flexible\, scalable and agi
le to acclimatize to the new application with a consistent service across
different connected devices\; and partnering with the platform providers t
