Wahaj has vast exp erience in Internet and telecom industry and worked with the Government of Pakistan at policy making level. Wahaj is a founder member of ISPAK (Inte rnet Service Providers Association of Pakistan) and has been a strong acti vist for reforms in Pakistani IT and Telecom industry.\n\nThe main aim of this guest lecture was to motivate the youth to not only rely on jobs and think about the problems of society and by solving those problems they can have their own startups.\n\nWahaj Siraj start his professional life after having Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering after that he persuade his carrier in most trending field i.e Renewable energy resources by having Ma ster degree.\n\nHe served in government organization for 15 years but he r ealized that this is not the ultimate source for growing up so he started looking into startups and business idea and started his carrier in network ing by installing DSL system in PTV headquarter Islamabad\, Pakistan.\n\nP roper session started in a very friendly environment by the question by th e chief guest as “what you people want to hear?”. A question arises ab out the job opportunities in the market\, so he replied in a very friendly way that job is not only way to excel in life\, but it’s easy to get a job with good and positive attitude towards your profession in a complete discussion he told that an enthusiastic attitude to do something can lead you to do much more in life rather to live a life from 6:00 AM to 6:00PM\, Life is limitless so don’t waste it for working up to 60’s and then s pend rest of it on couch reading tea and having retired status\n\nHe give some of his life example and demonstrate about the benefits of having star tup and how multinational companies like apple\, and Microsoft started.\n\ nHe strongly believes that having degree cannot specify your rest of life an engineer can do lot of other things rather then technical works. He str ongly believe that an engineer can be a good manager\, or a legal advisor or he could do marketing or graphic and logo designing.
