DESCRIPTION:Google Cloud Study Jam\n\nAiming to provide an intense training
  about google cloud at undergraduate level for the students a full day stu
 dy jam on ‘Machine learning using cloud’ was held on 14th March 2019 i
 n MES college of engineering. It was conducted under IEEE CS in associatio
 n with DSC MESCE.\n\nThe Google cloud study jam was taken by Mr Karthik K 
 (google cloud facilitator). The study jam was attended by students of vari
 ous branches including mechanical and electronics students who had no base
  on the Topic. Taking those students into consideration Mr Kartik had expl
 ained about the topic from the very scratch.\n\nThe various topics covered
  were\n\n-Cloud intro story\n\n-Cloud data centres\n\n-How to make a clust
 ered stand alone server\n\n-Cloud SQL big query intro lab\n\n-Big query la
 b\n\n-Machine learning cloud lab\n\n-Cloud speech api lab\n\n-Google genom
 ics lab\n\n-API working pictorial diagram\n\nFrom the study jam it was cle
 ar that there are good reasons for moving your machine learning projects t
 o the cloud as the cloud’s pay per use model is good for machine learnin
 g workloads.Google cloud offer many machine learning options that don’t 
 require deep knowledge in artificial intelligence. Also the cloud makes it
  easy to experiment with our machine learning capabilities.\n\nThe study j
 am emphasised more on practical knowledge more than theoretical knowledge.
  All students were provided with computer systems in which the lab tool fo
 r Google Cloud platform was used.\n\nThe study jam was a 6 hours session\,
  and yet the students interest were intact and keenly drawn onto the topic
 .\n\nThe feedback of the Students were really positive and they all left t
 he study jam having more knowledge about the topic than before.\n\nKuttipp
