DESCRIPTION:The Electrical Engineering Society of IIT (BHU) Varanasi in ass
 ociation with IEEE Student Branch IIT (BHU) Varanasi\, organized the 19th 
 edition of the Annual Festival\, Prastuti during 5-7\, April 2019. The Pra
 stuti’19 featured a wide array of innovative events and thus reconstruct
 ing the era of a technological renaissance. The brief description of prast
 uti’19 is as follows.\n\nA. 9 Inter College Competitions were organized\
 n\n- Consilium: Digital Electronics based Event\n- Simulim: Power Electron
 ics Simulation Event\n- Codigo: Coding Based Online Event\n- Cryptex: Cryp
 tography Based Event\n- Paper Presentation\n- Quizzo\n- Recognizance: Mach
 ine Learning Based Event\n- Simul-8R\n- Poster Presentation\n\nThe events 
 had a participation of more than 300+ students. Prize money for total even
 ts was Rs. 30000.\n\nB. Guest Lecture\n\nA guest lecture was given by well
  renowned by Prof. K. Gopakumar who received the B.E.\, M.Sc. (Engg.)\, an
 d Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Sci
 ence\, Bangalore\, India\, in 1980\, 1984\, and 1994\, respectively. He is
  currently a Professor at the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering
  at Indian Institute of Science (IISc)\, Bangalore. With a professional ex
 perience spanning over 27 years\, he has worked with Indian Space Research
  Organization (ISRO) where he was involved in design\, development\, and t
 esting of a satellite onboard power supply systems including that of SROSS
 -1 (Stretched Rohini Satellite Series-1).\n\nProf. K. Gopakumar delivered 
 a lecture on “High-resolution multilevel voltage space vector structure 
 generation for variable speed drives and grid-tied applications”.\n\nC. 
 Workshops\n\nTechnical workshop series was also organized on Artificial In
 telligence and its application in Electrical Engineering\, IOT (Internet o
 f Things)\, Automobile\, Robotics\, and Embedded System. The workshops wer
 e organized by TechGyan and powered by Microsoft Technology Associate.\n\n
