 tract\n\nMost of today’s approach to energy must rely on a central parad
 igm that funnel their innovation. The first paradigm relies on the technic
 al and organizational legacy centralized large grid that can only be orche
 strated by a single entity. That centralization of the decisions needed to
  operate the grid and the obligation to have extensive forward planning li
 mits the capacity to quickly adapt to new technology. We need to rethink t
 his approach. Using an integrated hardware\, software and algorithm multid
 isciplinary approach to innovation\, Ossiaco has developed the “next gen
 eration” residential energy hub that encompasses the first practical res
 idential fast DC charger\, solar inverter\, home energy optimizer and API 
 interface for utility or community collaboration. In the course of product
  development\, Ossiaco has conducted numerous investigations and studies a
 nd this talk will highlight some of the most interesting findings and conc
 lusions. This can lead to rethink the way we orchestrate energy and put ba
