DESCRIPTION:The First International Conference of Intelligent Computing and
  Engineering (ICOICE 2019) was held in the College of Engineering and Petr
 oleum\, Hadhramout University\, Mukalla\, Yemen on December 15-16\, 2019 a
 nd organised by Hadhramout University and the Yemeni Scientists Research G
 roup (YSRG) and technically sponsored by IEEE – Yemen Subsection.\nThe c
 onference received 109 papers for researchers from Yemen and other 25 coun
 tries including Algeria\, Canada\, China\, Egypt\, India\, Indonesia\, Ira
 q\, Ireland\, Japan\, Jordan\, Lebanon\, Malaysia\, Morocco\, Nigeria\, No
 rway\, Oman\, Palestine\, Portugal\, Saudi Arabia\, Singapore\, Sudan\, Tu
 nisia\, United Arab Emirates\, United Kingdom and Vietnam. Of these submis
 sions\, only 66 papers were included in the conference proceedings.\n\nThe
  papers discuss several research topics such as artificial intelligence\, 
 data science\, business intelligence\, internet of things (IoT)\, intellig
 ent communication systems\, advances in information security\, computation
 al vision and robotics\, and computational methods in engineering.\n\nThe 
 ICOICE 2019 program included three keynote speeches: Prof. Dr. Anne James\
 , Dr. Noorminshah Iahad and Dr. Tawfik Al-Hadhrami\; and three invited spe
 eches: Dr. Ammar Zahary\, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Bamatraf and Dr. Azzat Als
 aidi. The program included two parallel sessions for two days.\n\nHadhramo
