DESCRIPTION:Moratuwa Engineering Research Conference (MERCon) is the intern
 ational conference organized by the Engineering Research Unit (ERU) of the
  University of Moratuwa in collaboration with University of Moratuwa and I
 EEE student branch of University of Moratuwa. This is an international mul
 tidisciplinary engineering research conference which was held for the fift
 h time on July 3-5\, 2019 at Civil Engineering Complex.\n\nThere were more
  than 200 papers submitted and 140 are accepted after the peer review proc
 ess. These selected papers were submitted to publish in IEEEXplore. The ma
 in topics under the conference are Big Data\, Machine Learning and Cloud C
 omputing\, Biomedical Engineering and Instrumentation\, Chemical and Proce
 ss Engineering\, Civil and Environmental Engineering\, Energy and Environm

 were delivered by Prof. Weerathunga Malalasekara\, Loughborough University
