 ed every year in honour of Prof. Vikram Sarabhai’s birthday\, an Indian 
 scientist and innovator\, widely regarded as the father of India's space p
 rogramme. On this occassion planned an event on hyperspectral images analy
 sis and applications. In recent times Hyperspectral Image Analysis plays v
 ital role in Precision Agriculture\, Atmospheric Studies\, Mining and othe
 r applications. It is of great importance to understand the process of cap
 turing the hyperspectral image and also understand the necessary tools to 
 analyze the data to derive useful knowledge. This Workshop is intended to 
 introduce the basics of Hyperspectral Image Analysis and provide the advan
