DESCRIPTION:The IEEE CIS membership drive was held at Indian Institute of I
 nformation Technology Allahabad\, India from August 10th\, 2019 to August 
 12th\, 2019 IEEE CIS Summer School 2019 on “Big Data Analytics and Strea
 m Processing (BDASP): Tools\, Techniques and Application”.\n\nThe progra
 m started with a welcome address by Prof. P. Nagabhushan\, Director\, Indi
 an Institute of Information Technology Allahabad\, India. Prof. Nishchal K
 . Verma\, Chairman\, IEEE UP Section CIS Chapter &amp; Professor\, Dept. of El
 ectrical Engineering\, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur\, India gave 
 an introduction about IEEE and IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CI
 S). He encouraged and motivated students for becoming a member of the IEEE
  CIS community by highlighting the membership benefits. Around 65 particip
 ants including faculties\, UG\, and PG students have attended the event. T
 he expert lecture was followed by an interactive session with executive co
 mmittee members of IEEE UP Section CIS Chapter where students asked their 
 doubts and explored the possibilities of computational intelligence (CI) i
 n their own work.\n\nFor membership drive\, a booth was also set up at the
  venue to promote IEEE CIS membership and related activities.\n\nIndian In
