kathon on Software Defined Radio (SDR) for Academics & Research followed b
y a Hackthon on Software Defined Radio (SDR) as a part of Technical Revamp
ing Initiative Aspired Concourse-TRIAC at Federal Institute of Science & T
echnology on 26th & 27th October 2019. The session was handled by Dr. Gand
hiraj\, Professor\, Amritha College of Engineering\, Coimbatore. 27 studen

e started with giving introduction to few theories like time domain\, freq
uency domain & Fourier transfer. This was followed by familiarization of G
NU radio software. How signal waves form was edified. This was followed by
instructing how to filter a signal & catch different audio frequencies. T
he session concluded by discussing how filter a given input audio signal.\
n\nDay two consisted of a hackathon to test the workshop knowledge gained
by the delegates. The task given to them were to take a song of their choi
