DESCRIPTION:Abstract – Resilient grid is a paradigm shift which requires
a new line of thinking in the engineering\, infrastructure\, managing reli
able operation and maintenance of the grid. The importance of modern elect
ricity grid for sustainable delivery of reliable\, communicative\, and hig
h-quality electricity is paramount.\n\nThe Electric power industry continu
es to transform at an accelerating rate. Demand for bundled load is on dec
line which directly affects the supply side.\n\n* Characteristics and beha
vior of the system are changing. Renewable energy sources (RES) intermitte
ncy have introduced challenges in dispatching mix impacting load forecasti
ng\, voltage spikes\, frequency excursions\, and cyclic operation of therm
al plants.\n\n* The need for timing precision\, new protection\, automatio
n\, and operational solutions have become vital. Advanced simulation tools
are needed to thoroughly simulate solutions for deployment given the dyna
mic power system changes. New solutions including topologies\, algorithms\
, and deployment strategies are needed.\n\nA changing environment requires
a transformed grid. Advancements in Artificial Intelligence have helped i
n growth and in acceptance of digital platforms\, and more efficient energ
y-management. The need for new robust and well tested solutions never been
more acute. When properly implemented\, advanced portfolio of sensors\, t
