DESCRIPTION:The Student-Professional Awareness Conference (S-PAC) is a stru
 ctured event where students interact with experienced engineers from diver
 se backgrounds. Hosted annually\, the S-PAC brings together over 150 stude
 nts from mid-south universities such as Christian Brothers University\, Th
 e University of Memphis\, Rhodes College\, University of Mississippi\, Uni
 versity of Arkansas\, Arkansas State University\, Union University\, and U
 T Martin where they have a chance to interact with professionals\, through
  a round table discussion.\n\nThere will be two professionals speaking on 
 the theme of community engagement. Following the presentations there will 
 be two panels of local professionals to further elaborate on the topics.\n
 \nProfessionals that attend will receive 2 Professional Development Hour c
 redits.\n\nThe goal of the conference is to unite students and professiona
 ls to learn\, network\, and grow by interacting with each other through no
 n-technical presentations by speakers from different parts of the country.
 \n\nThe IEEE Memphis Section firmly believes that the future of engineerin
 g\, whichever discipline it may be (Electrical\, Computer\, Mechanical\, C
 ivil\, Biomedical\, etc.)\, lies in the hands of students. Therefore we’
 re taking a proactive approach by building a relationship with these indiv
