DESCRIPTION:This webinar presents a strategy for creating a team of mentors
\, AVILA Crew\, consisting of former students from a course who volunteere
d to be responsible for the conceptualization\, organization and implement
ation of mentoring sessions named AVILA Sessions.\n\nThese AVILA Sessions
are based on the principle of autonomy applied to the team of mentors\, wh
o organize themselves to develop mentoring sessions\, typically in-game fo
rmat\, where the role of teachers is mainly to identify the curricular top
ic to be addressed and to ensure scientific correction of each session met
hodology and exercises.\n\nThis approach enhances the creative skills of a
lumni\, still able to remember the difficulties they have recently had wit
h those syllabi\, resulting in a set of notably innovative pedagogical sol
utions that are distinct from teacher's traditional strategies and pedagog
ical approaches.\n\nDuring the webinar practical cases of AVILA Sessions a
lready held (SQL\, arrays\, git\,…) will be presented\, as well as strat
egies for team building. Organization and working methodologies used by te
achers and mentors to prepare the sessions will be discussed.\n\nURL: http
