DESCRIPTION:A workshop on Mechatronics and Micro-Mechatronics was organized
  at MERCon 2019 under the technical co sponsorship of PES Sri Lanka Chapte
 r. The integration of Mechanical engineering\, Controls Engineering\, Elec
 tronics Engineering and Computer engineering has lead the inception and de
 velopment of the new multidisciplinary field of engineering discipline cal
 led Mechatronic. Currently\, Mechatronics engineering has impregnated to t
 he day-to-day engineering solutions\, industrial machinery and high end en
 gineering research. The researchers have the benefit of mastering Mechatro
 nics engineering in performing the research tasks very much effectively an
 d in a highly analytical way.\n\nThis workshop targets to give the partici
 pants an orientation to Mechatronics systems development and introduction 
 to Micro Mechatronics. Hands-on experiences in sensing and actuating techn
 ologies\, micro controller programming and virtual instrumentation could b
