 with a welcome address by Prof. Nishchal K. Verma\, Chairman\, Dept. of El
 ectrical Engineering\, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur\, Kanpur\, In
 dia. He gave an introduction about the IEEE and IEEE Computational Intelli
 gence Society (CIS). He encouraged and motivated participants for becoming
  a member of the IEEE CIS community by highlighting the membership benefit
 s. An interactive session was also organized with executive committee memb
 ers of the IEEE UP Section CIS Chapter where participants asked their doub
 ts and explored the possibilities of computational intelligence (CI) in th
 eir own work.\n\nFor membership drive\, a booth was also set up at the ven
