Dr. Brij N Singh is a Senior Staff Engineer in John Deere Inc.\, USA and lead ing the US Department of Energy - PowerAmerica (DOE-PowerAmerica) funded p roject to develop a 200 kW SiC inverter for heavy-duty vehicle application s. Brij has earned BE degree in Electrical Engineering from MMMUT Gorakhpu r in 1989\, ME degree BE degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Roorkee in 1991\, and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the IIT Delhi i n 1996. In 1996\, Brij joined the École de Technologie Supérieure\, Univ ersité du Québec\, Montreal\, QC\, Canada\, as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. I n 1999\, Brij joined Concordia University\, Montreal\, QC\, Canada as a Re search Fellow. In 2000\, Brij joined the Department of Electrical Engineer ing and Computer Science\, Tulane University\, New Orleans\, Louisiana\, a s an Assistant Professor. Dr. Babak Parkhideh is an Associate Professor at the University of North Carol ina-Charlotte where he is the founding director of the Photovoltaic Integr ation Laboratory since 2012. He is also developing the Power Electronics h ands-on training program at the US Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA)\, Wa shington\, DC. Initiated from his research laboratory and support from the National Science Foundation\, he commercializes ultrafast sensing solutio ns for post-silicon power electronics at Telli Technologies Inc. where he serves as the founder and president of the company. He completed his PhD a t North Carolina State University\, Raleigh\, NC\, Master’s at RWTH-Aach en University\, Germany\, and bachelor’s (with honor and distinction) at Tehran University all in Electrical Engineering.
