DESCRIPTION:Abstract\n\nThe adoption of cloud computing among financial ins
titutions is an ongoing journey and taking its unique shape due to the nat
ure of regulatory and compliance. In this presentation\, we will cover why
and how financial institutions are creating a hybrid multi-cloud strategy
and building a private cloud to support multiples service delivery models
. Also\, how this strategy is influencing the storage strategy bridging th
e legacy with container-based solutions without creating a new infrastruct
ure silo/barrier. How networking is transforming\, with SD-WAN\, to simpli
fy and improve responsiveness on branches up to NFVs and SDN to manage and
orchestrate services among different execution avenues. Security is param
ount for financial institutions in this architecture\, and we also want to
cover strategies and best practices for protecting the platform\, data co
nfidentiality\, and giving visibility of security measures.\n\nTopics that
will be covered:\n\n- The actual status of cloud adoption in FSI globally
\;\n- Regulation Framework: challenges\, and approaches at the infrastruct
ure level\;\n- Data Protection that satisfies regulators and protects FI
 ’s IP\;\n- How a multi-cloud strategy is affecting the overall network s
trategy – new approaches are emerging\;\n- Storage architecture in a mul
 ti-cloud world\;\n- Application development for a multi-cloud platform –
state of maturity.\n\nCo-sponsored by: Michael Bates\n\nSpeaker(s): Bruno
