DESCRIPTION:To equip the faculty with better knowledge right from the basic
 s of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for Engineering Applicat
 ions for a period of 5 days\, CSE\, IT and ECE Department of VNR came up w
 ith this Professional Development Programme (PDP). Expert faculty members 
 in the domain of AI delivered lectures on different topic of ML. Dr. Sandh
 ya (Professor\, CSE)\, Dr. D Srinivasa Rao (Assistant Professor\, IT)\, Dr
 . G Madhu (Associate Professor\, IT)\, Dr. A Kousar Nikhath (Assistant Pro
 fessor\, CSE) and Mr. P Anudeep (Assistant Professor\, ECE) were the resou
 rce persons for 5 different days.\n\nABOUT THE EVENT:\n\nAround 170 partic
 ipants registered for this Professional Development Programme from differe
 nt colleges and locations and each session was enriching.\n\nDay-1:\n\nOn 
 day 1 (8th June)\, An Introduction Session on Artificial Intelligence and 
 Machine Learning\, was given by Dr. D Srinivasa Rao. He gave a brief about
  Artificial Intelligence and discussed the different domains of ML and als
 o talked about Regression and Classification.\n\nDay-2:\n\nOn day 2 (9th J
 une)\, Dr. G Madhu discussed the importance of data to train Machine Learn
 ing Models and covered Data Preprocessing\, Dimensionality Reduction\, Mis
 sing Values\, which are necessary steps taken to prepare data into Machine
  Understandable format. Activities regarding those topics were performed o
 n Google Colab\, an IDE to write and execute Python 3 Notebooks\, which is
  used extensively for developing Machine Learning Applications.\n\nDay-3:\
 n\nOn day 3 (10th June)\, Dr. A Kousar Nikhanth discussed the Regression M
 ethod\, along with a case study on the same. The Regression Algorithms for
  implementation and the purpose of Regression in the given application wer
 e covered in the case study.\n\nDay-4:\n\nOn day 4 (11th June)\, Classific
 ation Methods in Machine Learning were taught by Dr. N Sandhya\, and Decis
 ion Trees which is a popular and widely used ML Algorithm for Classificati
 on of data samples was extensively discussed by Dr. G Madhu.\n\nDay-5:\n\n
 On day 5 (12th June)\, Mr. P Anudeep explained about the Unlabelled Data\,
  why and how Unsupervised Learning comes into picture\, using unlabelled d
 ata to train ML Models. Various applications of Unsupervised Learning\, an
 d challenges with the same\, were covered in the Session. Last but not lea
 st\, Deep Learning was also covered\, where Autoencoders were discussed\, 
 and minimization of Error Score was taught by making ML models learn on lo
