DESCRIPTION:In this virtual conference\, Dr David Soldani will talk about t
he 5G evolution from 3GPP R-15\, enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB)\, to 3GP
P R-16\, industrial IoT (IIoT)\, and 3GPP R-17\, consumer IoT (CIoT). Spec
ial focus will be then placed on 5G security. David will introduce the mos
t important 5G security requirements from industry\, government and securi
ty agencies. He will then talk about the 3GPP 5G R15-17 security architect
ure and enhanced features with respect to 4G\, introduce the GSMA network
element security assurance scheme (NESAS) and show how that relates to the
3GPP 5G Security Assurance Specifications (SCAS). This is followed by a c
omprehensive review of solutions to 5G security deployment\, with examples
of how layer security\, domain security and O&M security can be achieved\
, with the possibility of easing the management of risks with the utilizat
ion of an end-to-end security operation center (SOC) and network domain se
curity management platform.\n\nCo-sponsored by: A/Prof Kumbesan Sandrasega
