DESCRIPTION:Online quiz about women in engineering (Aerospace\, Computer Sc
ience\, Automotive\, Mechanical\, in Biotechnology\, Electronic) to test h
ow much participants knew about them. The questions were multiple choice a
nd are based on facts about the women\, photos\, quotes\, statistics\, etc
. This event was created for the International Day of Women in Engineering
 (June 23)\, in collaboration with ASME-USFQ\, ASME-ESPE\, IEEE-ESPE (and
their WIE Affinity Group)\, and IEEE-USFQ.\n\nPeople could participate in
couples (it was checked that at least half of the paticipants were women).
Initially\, half of the couples answered the quiz in Category A\, and the
n the other half answered the quiz with different questions in Category B.
The three winner couples of each category went to semifinals\, where they
were tested with a more difficult quiz\, and the three winners there went
to finals to determine their positions. While Category A and B were compe
ting\, benefits about ASME and IEEE were presented to the teams that were
not participating.\n\nThe online platform used was Discord. There\, organi
zers and participants could communicate\, the links to the quizzes were se
nt\, information about IEEE and ASME was shared\, and "separate rooms" wer
e created for each couple so that they could communicate privately while o
ne of them had the quiz open. The quizzes themselves were created in Quizi
zz. During the week prior\, clues about the questions were posted on the s
ocial media of the groups\, branches and chapters involved.\n\nThe 3 winne
r teams got an award\, among which were IEEE/ASME memberships.\n\nWIE-USFQ
collaborated in the organization\, investigation of information about wom
en in engineering\, content generation about the clues for social media\,
and presenting and entertaining during the event.\n\nAgenda: \n20:00 - Wel
