DESCRIPTION:On 7th September 2020 (Monday)\, IEEE DDU SB conducted the seco
nd session of Tech Quickies which manifested the journey of the team of fi
nal year students who secured the second position in the E-YANTRA Robotics
competition (2019-2020) held on June 30th to July 5th\,2020(online) condu
cted by IIT BOMBAY.\n\nTeam members :\n\n1) Prit Varmora (leader)\n\n2) Ri
tvik Tiwari\n\n3) Dixit Tanna\n\n4) Dharmik Thakker\n\nPrit and Ritvik too
k us through the whole journey\, starting from the day they got the parcel
which consisted of the key components which were sent to them by IIT BOMB
AY. They explained to all the attendees how they came up with the idea of
the Biped Patrol Robot\, how by using basic terminologies which were taugh
t to them in the classroom was used to make this remarkable robot. They ex
plained about their failures and how they learned from their failures and
accomplished the goal\, it took them approximately 3 months to get their e
xpected outcome. As per their journey\, it was visible\, the troubles they
faced\, especially in times of this pandemic they had to go to the colleg
e to collect the parcel. Meeting each other regularly\, investing their ti

n\nAlmost 35 students attended the session\, the period was of one hour (9
:30 pm-10:30 pm). They then showed us a video which they had made about th
eir whole journey\, which showed the journey\, their hard work\, failures\
, success\, actual video of the final round of E-YANTRA\, and how they wer
e among the 6 finalists out of 1049 teams and were placed at the second po
sition in this theme of Biped patrol robot across India.\n\nThe team then
motivated all the attendees to participate in such competitions where they
can discover and explore their interests and utilize the time instead of
wasting it. They then shared some information about robots.\n\nSpeaker(s):
