 : \nFeatured Speakers\n\nJessie Robertson &amp; Robyn Birch - Undergraduate en
 gineering students and members of the University of Manitoba Biomedical De
 sign Team. The team won first place in the Innovative Design Challenge at 
 the Western Engineering Competition earlier this year. They will present a
 bout the BMED Team and their winning design.\n\nCassandra Aldaba - Busines
 s Intelligence Developer at Skip the Dishes. Cassandra graduated from U of
  M with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and then pursued an M.Sc. in Bio
 medical Engineering. She is also a member of Skip the Dishes&#39; Women in Tec
 h group. Cassandra will be speaking about her current role at Skip the Dis
 hes and what it&#39;s like to be a woman in the tech industry.\n\nSusan Crawfo
 rd-Young - Ph.D. Candidate in Biosystems Engineering. Susan is a graduate 
 of the University of Manitoba with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and t
 hen a Post Baccalaureate in Education. After that she obtained a Diploma i
 n Instrumentation from Red River College. Susan then graduated from the Un
 iversity of Manitoba with a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineer
 ing in 2007. She will be discussing her paper entitled &quot;Effects of Microgr
