DESCRIPTION:The Coastal South Carolina Section is pleased to announce our f
 irst Section event for 2014. The event will consist of a tour of the Jeffe
 ries hydro power plant in Moncks Corner\, SC on March 7th\, 2014\, followe
 d by lunch. The meeting time will be 10:30 AM at the Jefferies Generating 
 Station Guard Shack at 463 Powerhouse Rd.\, Moncks Corner\, SC 29461. You 
 will be required to wear PPE which will be provided. We will then walk as 
 a group over to the hydro plant. The visit will start with a presentation\
 , followed by the tour. This should be an especially interesting tour. Hyd
 ro Units 2 and 4 are currently being overhauled\, so you should be able to
  see some 1930’s/1940’s generator technology up close. After
  the tour\, we will travel by POV to Gilligan’s At-The-Dock in Monc
 ks Corner for lunch. The cost will be $10.00 per person for members and gu
 ests and $5.00 per person for Electrical or Computer Engineering students.
  Lunch at Gilligan’s is included. Members\, guests\, and students a
