 career?\n\nJoin this event to hear from Ronnie Minhaz\, Transformer Consul
 ting Services Inc.\, who will be talking about his experience volunteering
  with IEEE and how it helped him to build his consulting business.\n\nRonn
 ie Minhaz began his journey with IEEE as the GOLD (now Young Professionals
 ) Chair. He then transitioned to Section Chair for the Southern Alberta se
 ction. This experience led him to join the IEEE Power and Energy Society (
 PES) Transformers Committee\, which has allowed him to give various techni
 cal presentations for PES Chapters around the world.\n\nDuring this talk\,
  Ronnie will discuss how his involvement in IEEE helped him to grow his tr
 ansformer consulting business and allowed him to travel around the world f
 or technical seminars\, site inspections\, and more.\n\n------------------

 \nRonnie Minhaz received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from U
 niversity of Manitoba\, Canada. Before founding his own company\, Transfor
 mer Consulting Services Inc.\, Ronnie worked as a Transformer Designer at 
 Pauwels Canada\, as an Equipment Engineer at SNC Lavalin and Enmax Power\,
  and as a Substation Lead Engineer at McGregor Construction. Ronnie has th
 e experience of performing Quality Assurance inspections in Transformer Ma
 nufacturing plants around the world. Besides providing services on Transfo
 rmer as consultant\, Ronnie has been an instructor for training sessions\,
  workshops\, conferences and seminars related to transformers around the w
 orld.\n\nRonnie is a registered professional engineer in the province of A
 lberta\, Canada and an IEEE Senior member. He has held various leadership 
 positions at the IEEE Section level and is a regular member of the IEEE PE
 S society. He is also a member of several working groups and task forces w
