  to bring you an interactive online technical talk/event on IEC61850 topic
 s.\n\nThis event is an excellent opportunity to learn and foster discussio
 ns on [IEC61850](https://www.omicronenergy.com/en/solutions/ied-testing-an
 d-verification-12/#contact-menu-open) for practicing professionals and alu
 mni. It will provide some perspective on how it is being used and applied 
 in the real world. Current students are welcome to join as well.\n\nTopics
  that will be covered include an overview of the IEC61850 standard and con
 cepts (data model\, data exchange services\, SCL) as well as a live demons
 tration using real world relays and test tools.\n\nThis online event requi
