DESCRIPTION:Abstract: This relevant talk outlines a new technology employed
  to fight the war on COVID-19. Historically\, virus inactivation\, bacteri
 al\, fungal\, and bacterial decontamination in hospitals was accomplished 
 through applying a combination of heat\, chemicals\, and ultraviolet light
 . Hospital Operating rooms typically use a portable intense source of ultr
 aviolet light at 254 nm to reduce levels not only of viruses\, but common 
 hospital pathogens such as Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus\, C
 lostridium difficile and Vancomycin resistant enterococcus. A major vector
  of COVID-19 infections in New York City was found to be associated with t
 he subway system. As an Metropolitan Transport Authority consultant\, Joe 
 Jesson was invited to recommend solutions. A patented virus defense was fo
 und to be an effective solution\; and is currently in pilot test throughou
 t the subway system. It is applied inside of locked cars without any peopl
 e present\, between 1:00 and 4:00 am. Joe will discuss details of the test
  and the newest research in people-safe\, upper-air Ultra Violet LED devel
 opment at General Electric Labs and other approaches.\n\nPresenter: Joseph

 Group\, a wireless and patent consulting company in Hamilton Square\, NJ. 
 Joe has over 35 years of experience in engineering and technology manageme
 nt at Motorola\, CNA\, Oak\, and Amoco/BP in Chicago and is a co-founder o
 f Asset Intelligence\, a General Electric corporation. He was awarded the 
 General Electric innovation prize\, the Edison Prize in 2007. Joseph is cu
 rrently Adjunct ECE Professor at TCNJ.and is IEEE Princeton Life Chair. Jo
 seph was awarded over 15 patents and holds graduate degrees from DePaul Un
