T he speakers for this seminar were Engr. Md. Liakat Ali (Chief Guest)\, Dep uty Managing Director of Walton Digi-tech Industries LTD and Azizul Hakim (Special Guest)\, Executive Director of Walton Group.\n\nThe event had a g reat success with 120 participants joining through Google Meet platform. T he seminar started exactly at 8 pm BST on 9th March\, 2021.\n\nThe special guest Azizul Hakim started the seminar with a brief introduction of the j ourney of Walton Group throughout the world. He stated that Walton Group i s the biggest electrical\, electronic and home appliances manufacturing co mpany in Bangladesh with a vision to digitalize our country and very close to achieving it. He also noted and praised the electrical and electronic engineers and computer science engineers for their contribution. The chief guest Engr. Md. Liakat Ali started the speech by thanking BUBT for inviti ng him in this seminar. He also mentioned that Walton is an electrical and electronic technological company where they manufacture electrical and el ectronic goods that is consumable and fulfill the demand of the customer. To manufacture such product\, it requires step by step process\, to comple te those process many teams work together\, such as research and developme nt team\, quality control team\, production team\, human resources team\, financial team. Every team plays vital role from their perspective to make the product more consumable therefore to run all the mentioned department s it requires a lot of manpower where human resources play key role. Like every other factory such as Walton High-Tech or Digi-Tech factory\, human resources have its own factory and that is institutions. We can take BUBT as an example\, where BUBT playing for producing human resources. He also praised BUBT for producing industry level graduates and thanked BUBT for t he collaboration with the Walton Group. At the end of the seminar there wa s Q&A session in which various questions were raised by the participants. Engr. Md. Liakat Ali cleared all the queries of the participants and gave clear idea.
