L ike previous years\, a huge response was received from the freshly admitte d students as well as existing IEEE members. Throughout the entire members hip drive week\, the IEEE BUBT SB social media group was filled with zealo us students getting familiar with IEEE\, filling up forms and becoming a p art of the biggest technical organization for engineers and professionals. \n\nPreceding the membership drive week\, an orientation program was arran ged to brief the newly admitted students about IEEE and its edge in both s tudent life and professional career. Following the briefing\, the Membersh ip Drive took place from Monday\, March 15\, 2021 to Saturday\, March 20\, 2021. The membership form was uploaded in various social media platform\, from where students could collect their membership forms and make their p ayments. The amount of eager students crowding the booth almost every day was overwhelming.\n\nDuring the overall membership drive\, we successfully recruited 51 members. All these members were given free membership of Wom en in Engineering (WIE) and Power an Energy Society (PES). Members were al so recruited for IEEE RAS\, CS BUBT Student Branch Chapters.\n\nThrough a successful membership drive\, IEEE BUBTT Student Branch aims to organize e vents for the members to get more connected to IEEE and be benefitted in t erms of knowledge and technical work.
