Tabil Ahmed\, Chairperson of IEEE BUBT Stu dent Branch\, initiated the program with a dynamic speech about IEEE to pr esent a basic structure of IEEE and its branches in Bangladesh. He talked about the vision and benefits of members and volunteers of IEEE and how th eir work is affecting their growth as both an engineer and a human being. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and group-based activities.\ n\nAt 10:20 PM the main session for the orientation program started. This segment of the program consisted of presentations from the newly formed Ex ecutive Committee members. At first\, Sabbir Hossain\, Vice-Chairperson of IEEE BUBT Student Branch\, presented an insight about the yearly activiti es of IEEE BUT SB which incorporated the future plans and how one can seiz e the benefits of becoming an IEEE member.\n\nLater\, Tabil Ahmed\, Chairp erson of IEEE BUBT Student Branch\; Tasnia Khan\, Chairman of IEEE BUBT WI E\; Syeda Nowshin Ibnat\, IEEE BUBT CS\, spoke to the students by turn and familiarized them with their respective purposes and upcoming activities of the following societies. They discussed and informed the activities of the members\; The Chairperson ensures all actions required for the smooth operation of the organization are accomplished. This person is also respon sible for mediating problems within the organization as well as giving a c lear and precise vision of the future development. The role of the Vice- C hairperson is to assist the Chairperson in his/her tasks and duties.\n\nTh e Vice-Chairperson also helps in the recruitment of new members and helps advertise the organization. The role of secretary is kept detailed minutes of each meeting. Maintain the membership roster (active and non-active.) The role of Treasurer is to maintain the appropriate financial accounts an d ensure all documents are accurate and up-to-date. Ensure the new Chairpe rson\, Counsellor\, and/or new treasurer have signatures on the account. T he role of Event Co-Ordinator is\, as the officer in charge of social even ts\, it is their duty to set up Bi-weekly meetings\, although this job can be dispersed to every member. The role of Social Media Co-Ordinator is\, as the publicity officer\, it is their duty to make posters specific to ea ch weekly event\, and hang them up. They are also in charge of any announc ements the club has including the newsletter.
