DESCRIPTION:The IEEE Broadband Forum is a free\, virtual event addressing t
he challenges of providing broadband internet access to sparsely populated
states such as New Hampshire. The forum will discuss the network technolo
gies used and proposed for broadband access and address the technical and
economic viability of each for urban\, suburban\, and rural areas.\n\nThe
goals for the event are to provide attendees with (1) an understanding of
the demographic and economic issues hampering wide deployment of broadband
access\; (2) the technology options currently proposed for delivering bro
adband\; and (3) the status and outlook of state and federal programs to e
xtend broadband access to unserved areas of New Hampshire.\n\n============
