 tures&quot;.\n\nInternational Girls in ICT Day\, an initiative of ITU and is ce
 lebrated every year to supports the social and economic development of wom
 en and girls. This day is an opportunity for girls and young women to see\
 , rethink and consider technology as new light of prospect. International 
 Girls in ICT Day aims to inspire a global movement to increase the represe
 ntation of girls and women in technology. The day is to recommit to the go
 al of equal access for young women and girls to opportunities in science\,
  technology\, engineering and math.\n\nAs a celebration of International G
 irls in ICT Day\, IEEE Bangladesh Section and Women in Engineering Affinit
 y Group of IEEE Bangladesh Section jointly organized a webinar on 22nd Apr
 il\, 2021.\n\nThe webinar was inaugurated with the Speech from Dr. Celia S
 hahnaz\, Professor (EEE)\, BUET &amp; Chair\, IEEE Bangladesh Section. After t
 hat\, the session was very much interactive through active participation i
 n the discussion by Rabeya Akter from IEEE RAS SB Dhaka University\, Dr. T

 in reducing poverty and promoting social and economic development\, for th
 emselves\, their families and their countries. ICT is an essential tool fo
 r the social and economic development of women and girls. Information and 
 communication technologies (ICTs) can provide women and girls an education
  and job training\, promote literacy\, improve access to health care\, ena
 ble the exercise of legal rights and participation in government.\n\nAroun
 d 60 participants from different university and professional organization
