DESCRIPTION:How are organizations increasing productivity in the constructi
on industry with a focus on modular building construction\, and in this ca
se\, data centers? Assumption: Productivity improvements in construction a
nd creating higher quality buildings are intertwined\; improving one impro
ves the other.\n\nThe talk also highlights the emerging energy efficiency
technology of compressorless warm water cooling.\n\nVirtual Meeting\n\nJoe
Ryan of Galligan Ryan & Associates (GRA) will present an overview of modu
lar construction in data centers. Dale Sartor of LBNL will discuss warm wa
ter liquid cooling.\n\nGRA delivers construction management\, program mana
gement\, consulting and infrastructure development management services\, b
oth domestically and internationally\, from concept through completion.\n\
nDale Sartor\, P.E.\, is a retired staff scientist/engineer and remains af
filiated with the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) where he fo
cusses on building efficiency technology applications. Dale is focused on
energy efficiency RD&D for buildings in the high-tech industries (i.e.\, l
aboratories\, cleanrooms\, and data centers).\n\nWe are looking forward to
a lively discussion so bring your questions and comments.\n\nTalk Outline
