DESCRIPTION:The inaugural session of the Cube Satellite and Ground Station 
 Control workshop organized by the IEEE MTT-S student Branch Chapter and SE
 DS Chapter of the University of Peradeniya in collaboration with Orion spa
 ce Pvt Ltd Nepal was held successfully on the 16th May 2021 via Zoom onlin
 e platform with more than 250 enthusiastic participants around the country
  and from overseas. This was the introductory session of the workshop seri
 es which includes 5 lecture sessions and a hands-on experience session. Th
 e guest speaker of the first session was Mr. Rakesh Chandra Prajapathi\, t
 he CEO of Orion Space Pvt Ltd Nepal.\n\nThe participants were able to get 
 the basic awareness about Cube satellites from this introductory lecture w
 hich was followed by an online questionnaire. The participants actively to
 ok part in the Q and A session at the end of the lecture to find solutions
  and explanations to their problems and doubts.\n\nThe introductory sessio
 n of the workshop series ended successfully with the hope of connecting wi
