DESCRIPTION:Four years ago David Warner from the National Renewable Energy
Laboratory (NREL) in Golden CO spoke to the Pikes Peak section about renew
able energy technology. Since then there's been a lot of progress in solar
energy efficiency and cost reduction and tremendous change in the solar i
ndustry. The IEEE Pikes Peak Section is pleased to have David back in Colo
rado Springs to update us on solar energy technology development at NREL a
nd on solar markets and policy issues. There is no admission charge. Free
pizza/drink will be served to IEEE members and will also be available to n
on-members for $5 (non-members are welcome to skip the pizza and attend th
