DESCRIPTION:Progress in Radar Research 2021\n\nwill be held on\n\nWednesday
  17th – Thursday 18th November 2021\nThe University of Adelaide\nNorth T
errace\, Adelaide\n\nAn opportunity for radar researchers to share their c
urrent research and interact with their research peer group.\n\nAbout PIRR
2021\nThe PIRR series of workshops\, held annually except for the “3”
and “8” years when Australia hosts the International Conference on Ra
dar (RADAR 20xx)\, is the annual Australian meeting of the community engag
ed in research into radar and allied fields. Past workshops have attracted
over 100 registrants. PIRR 2021 will follow a similar format to that of p
revious PIRR workshops\, with 2 days of presentations and discussion.\n\nT
he use of the term Progress in the workshop title indicates that the serie
s invites a stocktake on current\, not necessarily completed\, research an
d is not only a forum for reports of completed work. It also provides an o
pportunity for peer exposure and tuning of formal papers intended for subs
equent presentation at a conference or for journal publication. The event
will be held on the North Terrace campus of the University of Adelaide.\n\
nTopics of interest\nPIRR 2021 topics include research into any area of ra
dar\, tracking or related areas of science or technology. Consistent with
the intent of the workshop series\, PIRR 2021 welcomes proposals for prese
ntations in areas outside radar which bear on issues faced by radar resear
chers.\n\nStudent Travel Scholarships\nTravel scholarships of $500 are ava

mail to brian.ng@adelaide.edu.au. Selection will be made by the workshop t
echnical program committee on the basis of the submitted abstract and no f
ormal written paper is required. No workshop proceedings will be produced
but authors are encouraged (but not required) to make their presentation o
