DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with Electronics and Communication Engineering
\, Future University in Egypt\, IEEE-FUE student branch invites you to our
next event\; Dr. Mostafa Emam will be our guest\, and he will give a fron
tier lecture about how the semiconductor industry is shaping and controlli
ng every aspect of our daily life\, how is this interesting industry built
\, how it reaches into our lives and how it will continue to grow and infl
uence us more? How can we benefit from it\, be part of it\, and have activ
e roles in this global fast-growing industry? This is what he is going to
discuss during this seminar.\nDr. Mostafa Emam (IEEE M’10\, IEEE SM’16
) received the B.Sc. degree in electronics and communication engineering f
 rom Ain Shams University\, Cairo\, Egypt\, in 2001\, the Diplôme d’Ing
énieur degree in electronics and signal processing\, and the M.Sc. degree
in design of microelectronics circuits and systems\, both from the Instit
ute National Polytechnique (INP)\, Toulouse\, France\, in 2005. He receive
d the Ph.D. degree in engineering sciences in the Institute of Information
and Communication Technologies\, Electronics and Applied Mathematics (ICT
EAM)\, Electrical Engineering\, Université catholique de Louvain (UCL)\,
 Louvain- la-Neuve\, Belgium\, in 2010. From 2006 to 2010\, he was a resear
cher at UCL where he worked on wideband characterization and modeling of M
OSFETs. His research interests include the characterization and modeling o
 f SOI devices in dc\, RF\, large-signal\, and high- frequency noise\, for
harsh-environment applications and under mechanical-stress conditions as w
ell as the design and simulation of RF SOI circuits.\n\nDr Emam is IEEE Se
nior member\, the author and co-author of more than 40 scientific articles
and book chapters\, a reviewer for several IEEE journals. From 2015 till
2018 he served as the technical chair (SubVt track) and in 2019 as the gen
eral chair of the IEEE International S3S Conference. Since 2011\, he is th
 e founder of Incize\, a spin-off from UCL\, providing an innovative charac
terization and modeling service for devices and materials in all fields of
operation.\n\nIEEE-FUE is waiting for your participation and wishes you a
great time and collaboration with your questions.\nPlease feel free to in
vite your colleagues as well.\n\nRegister now: https://bit.ly/2VUqGZW\n\nT
