Thushara Deshapriya conducted the workshop as th e keynote speaker and made the audience aware of the enormous gap between unethical and ethical hacking.\n\nDay one of the workshop started with an introduction about Information Security and why we need to be aware of it in this technology-based society. Also\, he explained in detail about the opportunities for a young individual to succeed in Information Security. T hen the session became more interesting after the speaker started to talk about the security issues in society and how to find the solutions for the m with the aid of Burp Suite\, an application security testing software. F rom then on\, he explained about the practical aspects of Information Secu rity and started the practical session. Finally\, with immense exposure to the subject\, the participants were given two practical tasks to submit t o the organising committee before the second day. Before the end of the se ssion\, Eng. Thushara Deshapriya didn’t forget to inform the enthusiasti c listeners about some valuable tricks when doing the tasks. He was also v ery eager to answer the questions raised by the participants.
