The event was carried o ut under the guidelines of Founder President\, CEO of Sri Lanka Technologi cal Campus\, Eng. Ranjith Rubasinghe.\n\nSri Lanka Technological Campus (S LTC) is in its remarkable juncture where the first set of Engineering stud ents graduated in December 2020 and SLTC had been looking towards organizi ng an event to create industry awareness on their Graduate profile and how the end product could basically fit the industry needs and add value for advancement.\n\nThe objective of the event was to provide the opportunity to meet prospective employers for mock-up interviews or true interviews an d acquire a clear view on the opportunities that refine their skills to ma tch the job market that they will enter in the imminent future.\n\nThe eve of the project consisted of a Corporate Social Responsibility session for the graduates which was conducted by Mr. Dilrukshan Ferenando who is an e xecutive leadership coach as well as a startup consultant.\n\nAs mentioned earlier\, main event days of the project consisted of Day 01 and Day 02 w hich in Day 01 an opening ceremony and the interview sessions were conduct ed. Day 02 was completely consisted of interview sessions. In the opening ceremony a ceremonial start was given to the project. Dr Lalith Wijethunga who is the Head of People and Culture at SLTC as well as a Senior Lecture r at SLTC\, delivered a segment on the topic “cooperate expectations fro m fresh graduates”. This was followed by a foreign career awareness sess ion delivered by the AIESEC of University of Sri Jayawardenepura. The inte rview sessions were carried out on both days with the participation of rep uted companies as the interview panels. The volunteers of the IEEE Student Branch of SLTC supported both the interview panels and interviewees to be smoothly coordinated by minimizing errors. The project was able to create this platform giving 72 candidates the opportunity of interviews with one candidate getting interviews under multiple companies.
