DESCRIPTION:The first webinar of Robotrics 21/22 phase 1\, organised by the
  IEEE Robotics and Automation Society\, the student chapter of University 
 of Peradeniya\, was held on 11th of July 2021 from 4.00 p.m via zoom platf
 orm and Facebook live. The webinar was conducted by a senior lecturer in t
 he Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering\, University of Per
 adeniya\, who has practised and gained good knowledge in various fields su
 ch as bio robotics and biomechanical simulation of locomotor control\, dyn
 amics of sensory-motor integration and many more technical fields.\n\nThe 
 webinar was opened for all the undergraduates interested in Robotics and w
 ho plan to succeed in the Robotics Industry in the future.\n\nThe main top
 ics discussed were\,\n\n-  What is Webots?\n-  Alternatives to Webots?\n- 
  Portfolio and features\n-  Webots simulations and user interface\n-  Exam
 ples and Tutorials\n\nAt the commencement of the event\, an introduction o
 f the keynote speaker was delivered. Afterwards\, Dr. Nalin Harischandra s
 tarted to discuss Webots Simulation software from the basics and presented
  various robotics projects which are created from the Webots platform. Fur
 ther\, he clarified the languages that can be written in Webots controller
 .\n\nAt the end of the main session of the guest speaker\, the participant
 s were able to lighten their minds moreover in the Q/A session\, where the
 y were able to get answers to a lot of questions and clarify their doubts 
 regarding the Webot simulation software and how to get started robots mode
 lling in Webots platform as robotics enthusiasts.\n\nFinally\, to remark t
 he end of the first webinar of the webinar series\, the Vote of Thanks was
  delivered by Udula Ranasinghe\, the secretary of IEEE Robotics and Automa
