The webinar was conducted by Eng . Migara Amithodhana who is a Chartered Engineer and has extensive knowled ge of technological and communication advancements.\n\nAn introduction of the keynote speaker was given at the beginning of the session. Afterwards\ , Eng. Migara Amithodhana started the session by sharing his past experien ces and highlighting the importance of the day’s topic. Subsequently\, h e talked about What is IoT and the impact of IoT on society. He also discu ssed the importance of getting in touch with IoT and how it will make our lives easier in the near future. Finally\, there was a hands-on session us ing magicblocks.io\, a NodeRed based platform for IoT solution design for any user group\, and demonstrations\, which made the audience listen in cu riosity of what will be the subsequent output.\n\nThere was a Q/A session at the end of the main session of the guest speaker\, so all of the partic ipants could clarify their doubts and gain so much knowledge about IoT and its future.\n\nFinally\, to remark the end of the first webinar of the we binar series\, the Vote of Thanks was delivered by Udula Ranasinghe\, the secretary of IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.\n\nSpeaker(s): Eng.
