 21\, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering associated with th
 e IEEE Information Theory Society SEC Student Branch Chapter conducted an 
 inaugural program for its SEC Student Branch. The session started at 10 am
 . The host\, Akshaya K\, started with an introductory speech. The event be
 gan with the prayer song followed by virtual lamp lighting.\n\nThen Dr.B.L
 atha\, Head of the Department\, Computer Science Engineering\, Sri Sairam 
 Engineering College\, gave a welcome address. She spoke about what IEEE so
 ciety is\, and why we are making this society. She also explained how bene
 ficial it is. Dr.K.Porkumaran\, Director\, Sri Sairam Group of Institution
 s\, gave an Inaugural Address. He spoke about how to organize various even
 ts in IEEE society. He explained about the IEEE Xtreme event and how benef
 icial the participation certificate is.\n\nDr.S.Brindha\, IEEE SB Counsell
 or Sairam\, IEEE Captain\, gave Introduction to IEEE. She described everyt
 hing about IEEE\, what is ITS society from scratch. Also spoke about magaz
 ines\, newsletters\, webinars\, and how they are available free of cost fo
 r members. She also talked about funding project schemes and other benefit
 s. She encouraged students to join the IEEE ITS student branch society to 
 enjoy the membership benefits.\n\nThen the hosting handover to Srinidhi. S
 he welcomed our chief guest with a quick introduction. Dr.V.Gomathi\, Chai
 rman\, IEEE Information Theory Society\, IEEE Madras Section. She spoke ab
 out her publication and how she collaborated with a top company. She also 
 talked about how publications are valuable for student careers. She shared
  her experience in Artificial intelligence.\n\nThen we had a Q and A sessi
 on between the students and our chief guest\, where she clarified the doub
 ts.Then Buvana and Chandrasekaran shared their experience as part of a stu
 dent member of ITS society and they also encouraged the other students to 
 take the membership. Finally\, the event concluded with a vote of thanks b
