DESCRIPTION:The Dallas Chapter of RS in conjunction with the Technical Comm
ittee of System and Software\nAssurance of RS\, and the Department of Comp
uter Science at the University of Texas at Dallas\norganized a very succes
sful International Contest on Software Testing on April 24\, 2021. The\nco
ntest was technically sponsored by Mooctest\, Inc.\nThe contest is one of
the most important events organized by the Dallas Chapter every year\,\nin
creasing its reputation year after year while becoming an international ev
ent. This year\, there\nwere more than 200 contestants from four different
  countries: USA\, India\, Brazil\, and China.\nThe contest has two parts:\
n• The first part was a JUnit tutorial and practice test. Both were made
available before the\ncontest. The objective was to help contestants unde
rstand the contest format\, the basics of\nthe JUnit testing framework\, a
s well as the MoocTest online testing platform required to\nuse during the
contest. Each contestant needed to have basic knowledge about Java\nprogr
 amming.\n• The second part was the contest (09:00 - 11:30 am\, April 24\
, Central Daylight Time\,\nUSA). The contest was individual-based. Each co
ntestant had to design test cases with\nspecific input values based on the
given source code to test multiple Java programs. The\nquality of the gen
erated test cases was measured by the code coverage and mutation score\nac
hieved.\n\nThere were the top ten winners of the college group. There was
another group for\nhigh school students. Each winner received either a cas
 h award or equivalent-valued gifts\nprovided by our industry partners. A c
ertificate was presented to every contestant for their\nparticipation. Mor
