The webinar was intended for all undergraduat es\, graduates\, and innovative people. This was successfully done on Sund ay\, 29th October 2021 at 10 AM through the zoom platform with the partici pation of over 80 enthusiastic innovators.\n\nThe topic of the webinar was Patent Writing and the discussion was done under two points\; Patent writ ing process and as an innovator\, how to rise up in the industry. The gues t speaker of the event was Prof. R.U. Halwathura is the youngest professor of Civil Engineering in Sri Lanka and is currently affiliated with the Un iversity of Moratuwa.\n\nIt was a great opportunity for the participants a s many key messages were disseminated in the webinar and the audience was made fully aware of the ways to make an idea realistic and how can an idea be used as a commercial tool. Vast knowledge on innovations was given in the webinar and many aspects were discussed.
