 rocessing and model-based analysis focusing on signals of cardiovascular o
 rigin. The aim of such analysis is to extract desired information from ava
 ilable physiological measurements. This is challenging since the measureme
 nts usually provide indirect observations of complex phenomenon. Further\,
  the processing methodology must account for individual variation as well 
 as time dynamics and measurement noise. I will present some of my recent r
 esearch including characterization of atrial fibrillation for personalized
  treatment.\n\nShort Bio\n\nFrida Sandberg received the M.Sc. degree in el
 ectrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in signal processing from Lund U
 niversity\, Lund\, Sweden\, in 2003 and 2010\, respectively. She is since 
 2018 Associate Professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Lu
 nd University. Her research focuses on biomedical signal processing\, with
